Indonesia IP Office Update on Covid-19
- In the Framework of Accelerating the Management of Corona Virus 2019 (Covid-19), Indonesia Government has issued Government Regulation No. 21 of 2020 concerning Large-Scale Social Restrictions and Regulations of the Minister of Health No. 9 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for the respective Large-Scale Social Limitation;
- In line with the issuance of the above regulations, Indonesia IP Office has issued number of Official Notifications, firstly on 20 March 2020 under No. : HKI-OT.02.02-08 of 2020 concerning IP Services which ended on 31 March 2020, secondly on 23 March 2020, under No. : HKI-OT.02.02-10 concerning Temporary Down Time of Activities which ended on 5 April 2020 and thirdly on 31 March 2020 under No. : HKI-OT.02.02-21 of 2020 concerning The Revision to the 1st Notification (HKI-OT.02.02-08 of 2020) which ended 21 April 2020 and the last revision is issued on 20 April 2020 under No. HKI-OT.02.02-16 of 2020 advising that Temporary Down Time is extended to 13 May 2020;
- Monitoring the current situation and referring to the Decree of the Head of the National Agency for Disaster Management Number 13 A Year 2020 on the Extension of the Status of Spesific Emergency Disasters Outbreaks of Corona Virus in Indonesia, most likely the Down Time of Activities at the Indonesia IP Office might be extended again upon further Government Announcement on safe situation for normal activities;
- In compliance with the above Authority's regulations, SR Legals is implementing WFH but persistently committed to serve and response Client's needs in accordance to the available online services at the Government Offices during the implementation on Large-Scale Social Restrictions. Concerning the deadline during this Temporary Down Time, IP Office has confirmed to understand for any reports and/or submissions which currently are not available via online filling, can be filed later until further announcement;
